A blog is like an online diary. The software that you use allows you to login to a website, type your entry, add a photo, video or audio file, then click publish. In seconds your work is on the web for the whole world to read. It is the simplest form of online publishing.
Writing a Blog is a really fun way to get your business known “Out There”. There are many free blogging sites such as www.blogger.com which you can use, and you should make one, if possible, that discusses a topic that has to do with your target market. Keep the style of writing light hearted, imagine you are talking to a good friend, use everyday language.
Write a post every day for the first 7 days then every day or two there after. Our studies have shown that this gets your blog listed in Google quickly. Include tips, recent events, photos, articles, suggestions, etc. You should also submit your blog to Feedburner.com so that it is promoted to the major blog listings.

Make sure that you link back to your main site by highlighting some focus words and linking them back to a related page on the website.
